The Lyonator's Zone
502 - SBL 364 (formerly F246 RJX), DAF SB220 Optare Delta (Marchwood Motorways) {Part of the Go-Ahead Group}
1st March 2001

The older DAF vehicles are rostered to do Services 30, 31 and 32.

(30/31) Southampton - Cadnam via Central Station, Millbrook Station, Redbridge, Totton, West Totton, then either: (30) Netley Marsh & Woodlands, or (31) Tatchbury & Copythorne.

(32) Southampton - Calmore Estate via Central Station, Millbrook Station, Redbridge, Totton and Testwood.

Note: 32B Southampton - Calmore Estate via Cental Station, Millbrook Station, Redbridge, Totton and West Totton. Runs Friday and Saturday evenings only on the last 2 trips out of Southampton.

502 is the oldest vehicle in the Bus Fleet, serving Marchwood Motorways since April 1989.

It had a complete makeover in Late 2005, including the rather odd decision to change the number plate - probably to try and mask the "F" Reg title it previously shined to the world, personally I would of preferred the plates staying the same.

Top speed is 64mph (103km/h) and featuring a kickdown that works, this old beast can still perform and keep to tight running times!
