504 - L509 EHD, DAF SB220 Ikarus (Marchwood Motorways) {Part of the Go-Ahead Group}

The older DAF vehicles are rostered to do Services 30, 31 and 32.

(30/31) Southampton - Cadnam via Central Station, Millbrook Station, Redbridge, Totton, West Totton, then either: (30) Netley Marsh & Woodlands, or (31) Tatchbury & Copythorne.

(32) Southampton - Calmore Estate via Central Station, Millbrook Station, Redbridge, Totton and Testwood.

Note: 32B Southampton - Calmore Estate via Cental Station, Millbrook Station, Redbridge, Totton and West Totton. Runs Friday and Saturday evenings only on the last 2 trips out of Southampton.

504 is in my opinion the best service vehicle owned by Marchwood, top speed is a nice 80km/h (50mph) and that's only down to the ECU preventing the rev's hitting the red zone.

It feels like a coach, with power steering that could do bread & butter quicker than a tea-lady!
